PYC – FIPC YOUTH GROUP
‘Now there are a variety of gifts, but the same spirit; and there are a variety of gifts, but the same Lord; and there are a variety of activities, but it is the same God who activates them in everyone…Now you are the body of Christ, and individually members of it.’
- 1 Corinthians 4-6, 27
At FIPC, we believe that every member of our youth program has special and unique gifts to share. Therefore, we give opportunities for all youth to serve as leaders within our youth program. Through our youth planning teams, Youth Sunday, mission trips, service projects, and fundraisers, we give our youth many chances to grow together as the body of Christ, while also working individually to use their gifts to strengthen our church and to serve others.

Are you a college student who would like to be adopted by FIPC? Each college student in our church who desires to be ‘adopted’ will be assigned a person or group within our church who has volunteered to ‘adopt’ a student during the academic year. Throughout the year, the sponsor will send notes of encouragement, goodies, care packages, and provide spiritual nurture to the college student. This program allows college students to feel a connection with their church while they are away from home. If you are interested in being ‘adopted’ by a church member or group this year, please contact Sara Looney (862-2461).
