We welcome you to Fountain Inn Presbyterian Church. If you desire to join in membership with us at FIPC, you may do so on any Sunday. We receive members by transfer of certificate of membership from another Christian church, or by a reaffirmation of faith in Christ, or by a profession of faith in Christ and baptism. Contact the pastor, should you wish to join.
Liturgist for today is Kevin Price.
A congregational meeting has been called for June 13, 2010 following the Morning Worship Service. The purpose of the meeting is to elect a representative Nominating Committee for church officers. The Session recommends that the congregation elect three adults and one youth giving fair representation to age and gender. Nominations will be made from the floor. Members making nominations should first consult with those nominated as to their willingness to serve if elected. Church officers presently serving on the Board of Deacons and Session are not eligible. The Board of Deacons and Session elect their own representative to serve on the Nominating Committee (Book of Order G-14.0201b). Dime Hollingsworth and Shannon Weinel will represent the Session and that Deina Baynes will represent the Diaconate on the Nominating Committee.
